The Golf Athlete through its network of golf trained professional staff and PGA Professionals can provide you and your stakeholders with consulting services to provide valuable benchmarked processes and procedures that will assist you to deliver cutting edge scientific support for better golf performance for all golfers – young or old, amateur or elite.

The Golf Athlete can provide advice, structure, programme content, physical and physiological testing to assist you and your stakeholders on an annual or semi-annual basis. Working weekly with a good physical trainer is optimal but not possible for all players. The resources TGA has developed allows players of all levels to access quality information about training content and be accountable for their physical progress.

Many players and coaches have problems with slow to change technical faults, plateaus in technical improvement or recurrence of pain/injury with swinging the golf club. Understanding that golf specific musculoskeletal questioning and assessment is pivotal to isolating this depth of problem. Importantly this is quite different to the basic physical screening assessments that underpins training programme development. Staff need to be experienced and have high levels of clinical reasoning and golf specific knowledge.
90 minutes including reporting and recommendations. Patient history, history of injury, medical/family history, medication all included in this individualised player reporting.
60-90 minutes including exercise prescription and recommendations to Health and Fitness Professionals. Debrief and explanations – ideally with staff in attendance.

The Golf Athlete, with its association with Golf Biodynamics Inc and other sports science trained PGA Professionals around the world, can organise your full biomechanical assessment. Using technology like 3D Kinematic Assessment/Motion Capture, standardised Digital Video, Launch Monitors and Force Plates, the golfer can now measure exactly what the body, club and ball do during the golf swing. Integrating and interpreting these results with the other TGA services is essential for optimal swing and physical development for all players.
60 Minute session with 3D motion capture and reporting.
75 Minute session with 3D motion capture including biofeedback and reporting.

The Golf Athlete has access to highly trained Health Professionals who specialise in the treatment of golf specific injury. Backed by years of experience and training in biomechanics, swing analysis, golf club technology and training/practice structure for all golfers, the TGA staff can assess, treat and rehabilitation plan for you and your golfers. Where necessary around the world, appropriate on-referral to golf-sensitive medical professionals and specialists who understand the unique requirements of the golfer, can be facilitated by the TGA staff.
