The Golf Athlete conducts a number of seminars and presentation throughout the world over any 12 month period. Many to these seminars are directed at PGA Professionals and Sports Medicine/Science staff who wish to improve their golf specific knowledge of how to accelerate technique improvement and decrease injury rates in their client groups.
To register your interest in a seminar or presentation fill out the form details below.
The Level One seminar introduces the participant to the basic integration of technique evaluation using 3 dimensional kinematic evidence with physical intervention strategies. Practical assessment and interventions are the cornerstone of all the practical sessions. On range assessments and movement co-ordination exercises are introduced to the participants - thus assisting the PGA Professional on a day to day basis. See the Level I Seminar Outline for more information.
The Level Two seminar explores a number of practical sessions were the participants work through case studies. Participants are presented with swing video and 3D kinematic reports. The goal is then to isolate the key swing faults and confirm that the evidence is borne out by the measurement provided by the biomechanics reports. For each case study, the participants must then look at on range assessment tests and interventions. Thus providing the direction for physical intervention by both the physical therapist/physiotherapist and the athletic development specialists.
The Golf Athlete staff and consultants are available now to provide a range of services including player assessments (average, elite and corporate players) and presentations to all levels of the golf player market - see Menu of Services.
