Dec 13, 2008 - Danish Golf Union Testing in Copenhagen & Ikast, Denmark
Rob, Karen and Michael arrived in Copenhagen and were whisked off by their consummate host, Danish Men's Coach, Anders Dahl Christiansen within 45 minutes of their arrival from Manchester to the Zeeland town of Ikast to commence Danish Amateur Team testing. The two days in Ikast and then two days at Team Denmark headquarters in Brondby in Copenhagen were hectic but very rewarding.
The majority of the team has been tested for the last three years and the unanimous opinion of the coaches and the TGA and Golf Biodynamics staff is that the improvements are impressive. Leading coaches Thomas Larsen and Jan Frei Pedersen were joined by members of the junior team coaching staff including Peter, David and Thomas throughout the testing sessions that included 3D kinematic assessment and biofeedback session with Rob and Karen and then physical screening assessments with Michael Dalgleish.

Michael and Rob were very pleased to also have our TGA Convenors and DGU staff physiotherapists, Jakob Nees and Martin Lauridsen in attendance during the testing. Both Jakob and Martin continue to passionately support our presence with the team - while acknowledging that it is a very good learning experience still for them. Michael and Rob believe that the knowledge and practical assessment and interventions skills of both gentlemen continues to develop and they are both now world class practitioners - their knowledge of the integration of the totality of the scientific support for improved performance in golf is first rate.
The TGA Team would like to pass on our sincere thanks again to Claus Molholm, Lone Pedersen and Thomas for their continuing support of our consultancy and time with the Danish National Squads - and would like to ensure them that we value the friendship and professional comradeship that the Danish Administration and Staff provide on each and every visit to Denmark.
Finally a very special thank you to Anders Christiansen, his beautiful wife, Christina and the two boys, Casper and Nicolai, for providing the Team with the Birkerod Hilton yet again for their stay in Copenhagen - publicly, the Team would never have ventured to Denmark had it not been for the initial efforts and professional faith shown to all of the team by Anders since their original meetings in 2002-3.
